Check out this brand new, alternate version of the “Everybody Hurts” music video which Alex was part of. The single went to all Haiti efforts and has become the biggest-selling single in the UK of this year. I love this video much better than the other and Alex looks BREATH-TAKING in it! The official music video for the UK “Helping Haiti” charity single “Everybody Hurts” premiered earlier tonight and here is the video in its entirety as well as a behind the scenes video with footage of Alexandra recording her parts on the track & a quick message from her at the end of the video.

As reported in the news, Alexandra Burke will be flying down to Haiti to help out with whatever she can. Once again, I think its so important for everyone to give her your love & support as we know the terrible tragedies still going on there. It takes a strong, caring person to do what she and all the other volunteers are doing and for that I have to give them all the highest props and love.

Don’t just watch whats happening, do something to get involved with and help! Donating just $5 or $10 can provide medical care for a lot of Haitians and as Alex Burke fans, I really hope we can all come together and make it happen.

The singer said her clip for new track Broken Heels is definitely sexier than last single Bad Boys and it doesn’t just feature stick-thin models either.

Speaking exclusively to me after a knock-out performance at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball last night, she said: ‘We have taken it up a notch [from Bad Boys]. It was scary to go that side. We showed a bit of skin but it was fun. I was comfortable with it, though, it was done very tastefully.

I wanted to make sure this video was different and I wanted to make sure it wasn’t a load of girls who are, in the press’s eyes, perfect. I have some plus-sized girls in there. They are hot too. We are all working it. It is going to show people that no matter what your shape, colour, size, whatever you are, you are still beautiful.’

Warming to the girl power theme, the 21-year-old added: ‘It’s very girl empowering. It’s more about girl power, no disrespect to fellas and all that but I thought it was cool to do a song about what men do but we can do better. We did the song from scratch based on my personality. This song means a lot to me.’

The X Factor champ also had some words of wisdom for Britain’s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle about how to handle her new-found fame.

‘When it gets stressy, it’s best to keep those who you love and trust around you. They do help keep me calm,’ she said.

‘My way of unwinding is chilling at home and appreciating quality time to yourself because when I do get it, I really value it.’

Burke was not the only star rocking the O2 venue for radio station Capital. Other acts that wowed the crowds over the weekend included Janet Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and The Backstreet Boys.

UK website The Mirror briefly spoke with Alexandra about the photos of her kissing a friend and also on the new “Broken Heels” music video (which will be out in January).
Alex worked with choreographer Frank Gatson who choreographed Beyonce’s Single Ladies music video! This should be amazing!

(On the kissing photos):
“I haven’t even got time for a booty call let alone a boyfriend,” Alexandra tells me. “I’m not with Cameron, I’m not with the guy in those pictures, I’m not seeing anyone, I’m not snogging anyone and I haven’t got a man. Running around like I am now I don’t have any chance to be with someone. The only men I kiss are gay men - I don’t use tongue but that’s the only action I get.” The star, who you can meet when she creates a “magic moment” with Quality Street on Tuesday evening by London’s Tower Bridge, also revealed she’s terrified about her plan to crack the US market.

She giggles: “I want to crack America but I’m c***ping myself. Even Europe scares me. America’s a huge deal. In the UK everyone knows me because of the show but in America they have no idea who I am.

“I won’t be annoyed if things don’t work like Leona Lewis. I’m giving this my all and I want to make it work.

(On the “Broken Heels” music video):
“Beyonce has lent me her choreographer. Frank worked with me for the video in LA last week and he’s helping me out with my live stuff. He’s out of this world and I want him to be in my life for ever. He’s given me a whole new identity as a performer.”
