This morning Alexandra stopped by the BBC studios for a live interview on The BBC Breakfast Show. She has been hard at work this week doing major promo for the album release next week – if you missed the appearance, don’t worry we have got you covered! I absolutely love this article. I think it shows what an amazing & down to earth Alex is. A few months ago, while on the XFactor Tour in Glasgow, Alex visited a sick fan Emma in the hospital and you can read below to find out the great things that she and friend Ruth Lorenzo did for little Emma.
The Yorkhill Children’s Foundation organised for Alexandra Burke and Ruth Lorenzo from the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent’s Signature singer to visit Emma in hospital instead.
Marion said” “Emma has been wearing a football strip every day in hospital and was upset about missing the concert. Then suddenly Alexandra from the X Factor came in and saw Emma in her Man United strip and said, “That’s my team. How are they doing? I’ve been so busy.’
“Alexandra was really lovely. We asked how she felt o be a superstar, but she said, ‘I’m still just a normal person,’
“When I explained Emma wasn’t well enough to see the concert, Alexandra said we could see them at Braehead instead after Emma was out of hospital. I knew the concert was sold out. But then her assisant phoned us and said Alexandra had insisted we get tickets and so got to meet everyone from X Factor.
“We got treated like VIPs and were three rows from the front. Then, Alexandra was singing and said, ‘Hello Glasgow. How are you?’ Then she looked down at Emma and said, “And how are you?’
“It was a major pick-me-up for Emma. It gave her a boost and she’s even more determined to get back on her feet and to kick a ball.
Last night was the final tour date of the 2009 X Factor Tour in London, UK and here is a video of Alex performing “Listen & Hallelujah” at the Wembley Arena. Alex sang “Listen”, to me, better than she ever has and it gave me goosebumps! The crowd was really great and supportive and I really loved hearing everyone sing along with her.

Alexandra took the title of “X Factor Winner” on December 13th, 2008 and ever since that night, she has been on a whirlwind of appearances, interviews, performances and of course, the 2 month long X Factor Tour.
Alexandra has been living her dream and we couldn’t be happier for her. So, this is our way of saying “Congratulations on a great job done”.
We know that the future holds nothing but great things for you and we know that you are going to record a kick ass debut album!

I will never get tired of listening to Alex sing this beautiful rendition of “Listen” by her idol Beyonce’. Alexandra performed this last night at the XF Tour in Birmingham, UK & she does such an amazing job with it – not to mention how tired she must be from performing the other songs she does on the show as well. Just listen and be amazed.
